Bring the Knife are armoring up for their gigantic album release at the Middle East upstairs on Saturday. We’ll have more to tell you about it as it gets closer, but just think about this lineup for a second – Bring the Knife, Gozu, Jack Burton vs. David Lo Pan and Birch Hill Dam. Let that rattle around in your brain for a minute. Yeah, you’re going.
As part of their all-out blitz on the city, they’ve released another video, this one for “Werewolf Fuckdown.” It features a who’s who of Boston metal and punk shouting along to the band; we’ll give one unicorn dollar to anyone who can name them all before the credits roll. Make sure you turn up your speakers, your boss is gonna love it.

This man does not need dance lessons. Of course he will tell anyone that he’s just doing what he decided he wanted to do after seeing the Boston band Sam Black Church in his impressionable youth. Duncan is just as energetic off-stage, having produced the monumental Workaholica project involving 2 bands and a spoken word release a while back. The recording was produced by local maestro Ethan Dussault at the fabled New Alliance studio. Their second video for the tune “Werewolf Fuckdown” was the subject of a BBC video crush. [...]
